Remote Internships available with Fan Media

Remote internships are available now for college students across 100 cities and college towns.

iPhone/Android sports news video reporting with a story a week will be the focus, with an emphasis on local sports news stories and player interviews.

Fan Media Network website and app have 300 team channels across 100 cities and college towns for NCAA, NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS news and shows.

The company is based in Dallas and has a publisher partnership with Apple News.

This comes after a successful remote internship program this summer with students from the University of Alabama, Boston College, Penn State and Texas State.

Remote interns get a verified Reporter profile for the team of their choice in their city. A mobile newsroom member develops remote interns as iPhone/Android reporters by critiquing coverage, collaborating and assigning stories. The best quality videos get in Apple News.

“We have always had a remote workforce. We have never had an office. Our sports news network pioneered iPhone and Android video news coverage. It is all pulled together by our innovative mobile newsroom product and staff,” said Fan Media CEO and Founder Kirk Berridge.

Bite-size sports news videos are made on iPhones and Androids. There is no heavy equipment to lug around. News videos are made faster on phones. Speed is everything in news.

The remote internship program is offered now thru December and can be customized to meet school requirements. This is for school credit, non-paid. To be eligible for this internship position, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an academic internship course through your college or
university that will run concurrently with this internship opportunity.

To apply, simply create a profile on the company’s iOS app or website. Make an introduction video to get a verified Reporter profile for the team of your choice in your city. Then please fill out this application. Our mobile newsroom staff will reach out.
